Peregian Beach (in Queensland on Australia's East Coast) glows under brilliant mid-morning light and although the exposed sandy wall is shaded, it still glows with colour from under its grassy covering. In the distance small waves break across a submerged sand bar and the low tide has exposed a tantalizingly wide beach, irresistible and a magnet to beach and surf lovers alike as they are drawn to walk down and through this sandy access.
