Explore and indulge your artistic passions as you create some fabulous Cityscape paintings that you will be proud to hang in your own home. Two full days to learn and practice your new skills and techniques required to create a great Cityscape. This workshop will introduce you to and lead you through Don’s easy to learn, carefully considered painting methods with lots of one-on-one time with Don.
(All student levels welcome)
Day 1.. “Exploring, practicing, applying paint”
Get started by exploring many aspects of Cityscape painting while having some fun along the way. Experimental mark making, dynamic colour choices, textural effects, large brush – small brush techniques, perspective made easy, etc... great learning opportunities with every brush stroke.
Day 2.. “Create a 2nd ‘painting fantastic Cityscape’
Now you have a better understanding of the Cityscape, it’’s colours, forms and how to paint, we begin a second ‘fantastic Cityscape painting’ where you apply what you have been learning and create your own Cityscape with a full day to complete. Don is there every step of the way and he also does live in-class demonstrations of his techniques.
